Norwegians can hear and buy the surprise collaboration between Sondre and his cousin Lars Vaular, who is an acclaimed rapper and poet in their native Norway. The song is called “Øynene Lukket”, it’s produced by Kato Ådland and Anand Chetty, with Dave Herremannen Heilman on drums, and it’s quite the jam!

Just confirmed! Sondre will join the bill for a performance of Big Star’s legendary Sister Lovers album on May 28th, at Barbican Hall in London. From the Barbican website:

“Big Star’s third album has long been revered by musicians and critics as one of the most mysterious and influential records ever made. Its fragile, achingly beautiful songs have never been properly performed – but now an all-star band has unearthed the original string and wind orchestrations for this one-off London show.”
